"Organized Crime is soooo Busted"
And I am not talking about at the titty bar either. November 5th turned out to be a grrrreat day for the fight against organized crime.
In Italy and oher regions police gained assets worth $56 Million, and were able to arrest 47 people. Some of them were Sicilian businessmen,politicians ( Wow,that shocks me a politician being involved in orgainzed crime)? and public officals. (again,shocking dirty cops)...All of this happened in an overnight raid agfainst the Mafia in Sicily. (and severaly other reagions).
This all come after four years of investigation three mafia families. Honestly I didn't think that the mob was still around. See I do learn something new by reading the paper! Who knew?!
In a seperate statment police said they arrested 50 people accused of having links to the Camorra, a Naple area crime group. This once again included four municipal police officers. BAD ITALIAN COPS! NO RAVIOLI FOR YOU! The good guys were able to attain$84 million in assests.
The pay for police must not be very high. Why else would they go to the "dark side" Seriously.
Where do the "assets" go? I know they are placed in to evidence for a while, but then what? Where do they go after that? A huge yard sale? I would go to that. Just to check out what they had. Let's say this really does happen. Where would the money go? propbably by mistake back to the bad cops that were involved with the mob in the first place. I really want to know where does the money go? Sounds like they collected enough to put aside and give the good guys a raise. A raise and you can pick one thing out of the evidence locker.

I don't even know where to start with this. A 10 year old gilrs, yes I said 10. Gave birth in Spain. The grandmother is quoted saying " she is delighted having a new greandaughter! She doesn't understand why people are so shocked about the birth.
Um, let's think about this. She is 10 YEARS OLD!! You shouldn't be having sex at 10,actually 9! Kids should still be playing with their barbies, and toy soldiers! Girls and boys should still think each other have "cooties" and not be touching each other!! Boys are gross!!
The family is Romanin Gypsy's. The mother said girls alwas marry young. Young to be married where I come from is 25. Getting married at 10 is just freaking wrong!! Okay, so gypsy's marry young every culture has it's quirk. However, it's states in this artical that the father of the baby is 13......wait for it....but is no longer seeing the girl.
I have three girls 19,16 and 11. I would NOT be delighted if any of them told me I was going to be a grandmother. My hubby and I are hoping to make it to at least 50 before that happens. From the sound of this artical I should be proud that the girls have made it past the age of ten.
I remember an aunt of mine would always threaten to send her kids to live with the gypsy's. I wonder if I showed her this artical what she would feel with this new found knowledge.

An eldderly Nove Scotia couple by the name of Allen and Violet Large won $11.25 million in the lottery. This couple is in their late 70's. What do you think they did with this money? They gave it away! They gave it away to charities! Good for them. This is what I was talking about earlier Randy Moss and his 3 million. The Large's had more money then Mr. Moss and said "Why spend money when you already have everything you need?" AMEN to you Mr. and Mrs. Large!! We could all learn here. The next time you reach for something ask your self "do I really NEED this? If you don't how about putting together a bag of food for a shelter? How about a toy for the toys for tots? Or open a savings account and put the money in there, this could be used for a college fund or somthing. Try it I dare you!! I double do dare you!!!
